🔸Majtaba Khamenei’s office, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, released a named statement denying, without mentioning him, the remarks made by Mohammad-Bagher Kharazi regarding Masoud Pezeshkian’s multiple resignations, Iran’s president.

🔸In a video that was shared on social media on Monday with remarks by Mohammad-Bagher Kharazi, secretary-general of the Hezbollah party in Iran and a relative of the brother of the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader, he said that Majtaba Khamenei warned Masoud Pezeshkian that if he again requested resignations, this time he would agree to his step aside.

🔸A statement attributed to the office of the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader said that what it described as certain “quotes read out” are “intended to sow confusion in public opinion and to create division and discord in society,” adding: “The content published in cyberspace, in which someone raises a claim about the reaction of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the letter of the honorable president, is in essence false and contrary to fact.”

🔸Before this statement was published, a video was also released of Masoud Pezeshkian’s remarks in which the president of Iran, while rejecting his resignation, said that he would not step aside from his oppression.
