The Lebanese Army, in a post on X, said that after a security monitoring operation, Intelligence Directorate forces arrested two people in the area of Zaarba–Keserwan while packing about 1.2 million Captagon pills in a vehicle.

According to the statement, the consignment was being prepared for smuggling out of Lebanon. The Lebanese Army added that the seized materials were handed over to the relevant authorities, and investigations into the detainees have begun under the supervision of the judicial body.
