Markus Frohnmaier, deputy chairman of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) parliamentary faction, has said he is looking forward to a trilateral Germany-Russia-US economic forum.

“Preparations are already underway,” he wrote on X, addressing Kirill Dmiriev, Russian special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

“While others seek to sow division between nations, we are committed to building bridges and strengthening cooperation in trade, business, and energy,” Frohnmaier said. “I firmly believe that dialogue and mutual understanding are the foundations of a more prosperous and peaceful future,” he added.
