🔶Kpler: On Tuesday, only eight ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz

Maritime tracking company Kpler has said in a fresh message that on Tuesday, August 4, the number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz fell to eight, and most of the vessels were leaving the Persian Gulf.

In contrast, the number of ship transits through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which has been affected due to attacks by Yemen’s Houthis, increased to 34. However, four silent crossings without signals, activity by sanctioned vessels, and the movement of shadow fleet assets have raised ongoing concerns about transparency, monitoring, and compliance with regulations.

In addition, confirmation of a new attack on the ship “Minoan Pioneer” has further complicated the region’s security outlook.
