Regional media reported on the holding of a joint and symbolic naval drill between the naval forces of Israel and Greece in the waters of the eastern Mediterranean.

Missile-launching vessels from the navies of both countries took part in the exercise.

In this operation, complex scenarios including countering maritime threats, search and rescue operations, and managing emergency conditions were assessed.

Analysts and Greek media described the joint drill as a “deterrent message against Turkey’s actions” in the areas of energy and the disputed borders of the eastern Mediterranean.
