Wartime conditions in Iran have disrupted the work of many embassies.

Some embassies—especially the German embassy, which is one of the main destinations for Iranians seeking to emigrate and study—have been giving appointments to applicants with difficulty and selectively.

Some students who have university admissions in Germany say that due to disruption in the embassy appointment scheduling, they miss their opportunity to study and find themselves in a state of limbo. They also say that with the momentary increase in the exchange rate, delays in visa issuance make studying in a foreign country harder.

On the other hand, some people are waiting for an embassy appointment to see their family members abroad or to join them, and have been separated from their families.
