🔻JD Vance, the deputy of Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, responded to criticisms about public dissatisfaction in his country with the war with Iran and said that one of the problems is that within the Iranian government, some people want dialogue, while other hardliners want to continue the war.

Mr. Vance, who chaired the U.S. negotiating team during the talks in Islamabad, told Fox News that, in his view, the process of confrontation with Iran has ups and downs, but he believes that in the end “everything will turn out for the benefit of the American people.”

Meanwhile, some reports have indicated the possible trip of Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf to Pakistan in the coming days. Iran has not officially reacted to these reports. Mr. Qalibaf is the senior Iranian negotiator in the talks between Tehran and Washington mediated by Pakistan, which ultimately led to the signing of the Islamabad agreement, but that agreement soon became effectively ineffective with the resumption of hostilities between the two countries.
