CNN, citing a senior official from a Gulf country, reported that representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are not present in the negotiating delegation of the Islamic Republic, but that any interim agreement must be approved by this institution. At the same time, Donald Trump warned that if Tehran backs out of the negotiations again, the United States will carry out severe attacks against the Islamic Republic.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that global stock markets rose on hopes of progress in negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic, and the possibility of reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
