The dollar needed 309 days to move from 100 to 150,000 tomans, and 209 days to reach 200,000 tomans. The crossing from 200 to 260,000 tomans took only a little more than a month. Every new threshold was broken earlier than the previous one, and alongside that, the harsh sound of the death bell for the rial has grown louder every day.
