Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, said that the G7 leaders agreed to release 100 million barrels from strategic reserves over four months in order to lower the price of oil products, especially diesel.

Macron wrote on the social network X on Friday, 10 Mehr, that the action will be carried out with the participation of the G7 partners and in coordination with the International Energy Agency.

He added that the G7 has also agreed to increase the refining capacity to the highest possible level, and that no limits will be imposed on the exchange of energy and oil products among the partner countries, while coordination of measures to help shipments exit the Strait of Hormuz will continue.
