🗣Your account: Living conditions under political repression and military tensions - Friday 10 Mehr
🔹The last time I got a blood sugar test strip, it was 400 thousand tomans; now every pharmacy I go to, they don’t have it. I found it online, and at least it’s become 6 million tomans; so I decided not to buy it and I won’t.
🔹I have a daughter who is a student. This year she’s in 10th grade, and her field is architecture. With this inflation and these prices, I can’t tell my family that I need to buy something for her. They said we have to buy a laptop; they gave us a long list, and at least it will cost seven or eight tomans. Hoping for freedom.
🔹The internet has been extremely weak since yesterday (9 Mehr). It’s as if they’re gradually nationalizing the internet.
🔹These same auto companies—like Bahman Motor, which is government-affiliated—produce Kapsa cars and used to hand them over to the IRGC; now they’re not producing anything, just doing construction. All their managers have put their employees under pressure, harass them, and don’t give them proper pay at all.
🔹In my city, pressure on activists in cyberspace has increased a lot, including widespread cuts to people’s mobile lines. But these actions have not caused any disruption to the iron will of the people to overthrow the system. We are anxiously waiting for the historical moment of the regime’s fall.
🔹The Islamic Republic wherever people go to have fun, enters with loudspeakers and a few chairs—so it can both take away people’s comfort and gather supporters. These last days of theirs are showing.
🔹I’m a teacher with 18 years of experience, but I resigned from the Ministry of Education—education and training—after quitting “hell.”
🔹They cut the electricity again; we’re exhausted.
