🔶 Israel: A Hezbollah underground command center was destroyed
In an account reported by the Jerusalem Post from an Israeli informed source, Israel intends to respond to the Hezbollah Lebanon drone attack from the previous night on July 28 against one of its army bulldozers.
Earlier the same day, the Northern Command of the Israeli Army confirmed the overnight attack on the bulldozer and said it took place in the hill area of “Ali Taher,” describing it as an “open violation” of the ceasefire agreement with the Iran-backed group.
The area is located on the outskirts of Israel’s security belt and its elevation is about 600 meters. These heights are in the Nabatieh Governorate and in the north of the Litani River.
The Israeli Army says that Hezbollah has a large underground network at Ali Taher Heights, near the city of Nabatieh. According to the army’s assessment, dozens of Hezbollah forces are present in this area along with its underground facilities.
However, the army says that due to the provisions of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli forces are not allowed to carry out actions to fully seize or clear the existing passages and underground tunnels in these heights.
