Ismail Baqai, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, in response to reports published about the receipt of 300 to 400 short-range air defense systems from China, without confirming or denying these reports, said that Tehran–Beijing relations will continue based on the strategic partnership agreement and existing memorandums of understanding in various fields. Baqai added that whenever necessary, the two countries will also implement new understandings for the issues required.
