🔻Iranian Islamic Republic Airlines (Homa) announced that, following the imposition of sanctions, the company’s previous internet domain has been blocked at iranair.com.

According to Homa’s notice, starting from the 2nd of Aban, the website address of the company has changed to iranair.ir, and the online ticket sales system has been made available to passengers via ebooking.iranair.ir.

Homa has asked passengers to visit the new addresses to obtain information, use electronic services, and purchase tickets.

In its notice, the company did not explain which institution or company has blocked its internet domain and to which specific sanctions this measure is linked. It also did not announce the exact time when the previous domain was blocked.

IranAir has been listed under the United States’ sanctions since November 2018, after the U.S. withdrew from the nuclear deal. At that time, the U.S. Department of the Treasury also added 67 aircraft of this company to its blocked assets list.
