🔻 Coalition led by Saudi Arabia: We intercepted 10 Houthi ballistic missiles

🔻 The coalition led by Saudi Arabia has announced that it intercepted 10 Houthi ballistic missiles from Yemen.

Turki Al-Maliki, the coalition’s spokesperson, wrote on the X network that all of the missiles were brought down, but he did not provide any explanation about damage or human injuries. Al-Maliki also said that the coalition forces intercepted and destroyed one ballistic missile and two drones that the Houthis fired toward Riyadh.

On Sunday, at the same time as reports announced the reopening of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, reports emerged of hearing explosion sounds in the Saudi capital. It is not clear whether these explosions were related to interceptions or to the impact of the projectiles.

It appears that some flights at King Khalid Airport took place today, two weeks after the closure of this international airport, even though the airport’s notice board was full of canceled flights.

The Iran-aligned Houthis have warned that the airport is still a “military target” and “unsafe.”
