Iran’s Statistics Center announced that the monthly inflation rate for Mehr is 4.4% and the annual inflation rate is 76.8%. The consumer price index for households in the country in Mehr reached 761.8.

Mehdi Fadaei, deputy economic and national calculations at Iran’s Statistics Center, said that point-to-point inflation has fallen from 89.8% in Shahrivar to 88.7% in Mehr, decreasing by 1.1 percentage points.

Fadaei emphasized that the decline in point-to-point inflation does not mean a drop in the level of prices, and only shows that the rate of increase in the general level of prices compared to the same month of the previous year has become lower.
