🔻Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced Tehran’s readiness to help facilitate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen during a phone call with Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister.

This is the first reported contact between the foreign ministers of the two countries since the escalation of Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.

Over the past week, the Houthis have targeted Saudi Arabia several times. In the Saturday attack on King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, 13 people were killed and more than 300 were injured. This was the deadliest attack in Saudi Arabia in more than a decade.
