Information newspaper, 14 Mordad 1405, reported a three- to fourfold increase in the cost of water and electricity bills for some households in a report and wrote that in some cases the amount of the bills has risen from around 300,000 tomans to between 800,000 tomans and one million tomans. The newspaper called on the government to provide clarification on how the bills are calculated, the possible change in the consumption pattern, and how the revenues generated from this increase are spent.
