🔻Houthis: We brought down a Saudi drone over Taiz

🔻The Houthis of Yemen say they have shot down a reconnaissance military drone, “Bırqadar Ekinci,” made in Turkey, which, according to them, belonged to Saudi Arabia. They said the drone was carrying out “hostile missions” over the province of Taiz.

Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthis, said the drone was brought down using “the appropriate weapon.”

He also said that using ballistic missiles, the group targeted gathering points and Saudi-backed reinforcements near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The Houthis’ military spokesperson also previously announced a successful missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

This is the third time this week that the group has claimed responsibility for an attack on this airport.

Saudi Arabia also said that in the attack on the airport, one Sudanese national was killed and eight people were injured.
