Hosein Alizadeh, an international affairs analyst, called Donald Trump’s remarks about the start of the war by the Islamic Republic unprecedented and said that this statement is more something to be examined within the framework of U.S. election competition than something with legal meaning.
He, referring to political pressures on Trump because of the United States’ entry into the war, said that the U.S. president is trying to shift the responsibility for the outbreak of hostilities onto the Islamic Republic.
