The human rights group Haalvush reported, through videos, that armed people attacked the headquarters of the Rescue Unit and Police Station 11 in Zahedan on Tuesday, Fifth of Aban.

According to Haalvush, the clashes and heavy gunfire, including with a machine gun, continued for more than an hour. Local sources reported deaths and injuries among a number of military personnel. The atmosphere in Zahedan has become security-heavy, and the sound of ambulances has also been heard. Official authorities have not yet announced statistics on the number of killed and injured.
