Haaretz reported that the Israeli army has drawn up a plan to produce about 100,000 attack drones annually.
Based on this report, the plan was prepared in response to changes in the battlefield at low altitude and within the framework of lessons learned from the war in Russia and Ukraine. Haaretz wrote that the fiber-optic explosive drones used by Hezbollah undermine Israel’s air superiority in Lebanon.
The plan continues a program that Israeli army radio announced in Ordibehesht. According to that report, the Israeli army is building a factory to produce first-person-view suicide drones that are used across all fronts.
The initial goal was to produce 1,000 units per month, which was later set to be increased to tens of thousands. Mass deliveries began in Tir.
