🔺Financial Times: The U.S. threatened Ukraine with stopping arms supplies

▪The United States has threatened to halt the mechanism for supplying arms to Ukraine so that Kyiv would end deep strikes on Russia’s energy infrastructure.

▪The Financial Times, on Sunday, wrote—citing European officials—that Washington has put pressure on European capitals and Kyiv to stop the attacks on Russian refineries.

▪According to the newspaper, the U.S. message also included a threat to cut information sharing and stop the Pearl mechanism. Pearl is the priority list of Ukraine’s needs, and purchases of U.S. weapons are carried out through this route.

▪Reuters says it was unable to confirm the report, and the White House did not respond to a request for comment.
