🔻The finance minister, on the sidelines of the meeting of the G20 financial leaders in the city of Asheville in the state of North Carolina, said that any entity that trades with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will be subject to sanctions:

“Maybe these are different institutions. Maybe there are plane-leasing companies that we will look into. Anyone who does business with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. We are tracking the assets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”

He emphasized that “we will have no tolerance and no leniency and economically we will bring this regime to its knees.”

He warned the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:

“We know which of these trust companies in the British Virgin Islands your accounts are with. We know about your $100 million homes around the world and we intend to block these assets.”
