The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that it has banned the entry of Zack Polanski, the leader of the UK Green Party, to Israel.

Earlier, we reported that the Green Party in the UK approved a proposal that it described as “Zionism, racism.”

Most members of this party supported and adopted the proposal at the annual conference, although some senior members were opposed.

In a statement, the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council said: “Calling Jews and Jewish institutions in Britain racist adds to anti-Jewish hatred in the country after, over the past year, British Jews were murdered in their synagogue, stabbed in the streets, and attacked at their public places.”

The Jewish members’ chair of the Green Party said he is reviewing his membership in the party.
