🔸The Ettelaat newspaper has published data from a report by the Tehran municipality about the level of damage to various neighborhoods and facilities in Tehran during the 40-day war between the United States and Israel with Iran; according to it, more than 50,000 residential units in the city of Tehran sustained minor to full damage.

🔸The report says that more than two thousand units were completely destroyed and must be rebuilt, and that U.S. and Israeli attacks “left behind 10 million tons of war rubble.”

🔸Ettelaat says that these data were announced last week in a session titled “Unfinished Narratives of the City” at the University of Tehran by Hossein Noohi, the head of issuing permits for the building permit office of Tehran’s District 5.

🔸According to this Tehran municipal official, the Iranian capital was hit 650 times in the 40-day war, and some areas were targeted more than five times by missile and bomb attacks and drones.

🔸Among Tehran’s various districts, Tehran’s District 4, with 90 hits, had the highest number of impacts.
