Eshkan Nezamabadi, an economic journalist, said that this decision stems from the government’s directive and intrusive approach to the economy, referring to the ban on selling chicken weighing more than two kilograms and 200 grams.

He said that, according to producers, the cost of producing each kilogram of chicken is about 250,000 tomans, but the government has forced them to sell it at 180,000 tomans, and producing with such a loss cannot continue.
