Johann Waddofol, Germany’s foreign minister, said on Friday, 24 Mehr, that Europe has been placed in the crosshairs of the Islamic Republic, and that the German government will not tolerate Tehran’s hostile activities.

Waddofol, at a press conference with Portugal’s foreign minister in Berlin, said that a ruling issued by the Hamburg state’s higher court on Thursday, 23 Mehr, also shows this threat.

He added: “We will not tolerate Iran’s hostile activities against Jews in Germany and, in general, against our open society.”

Germany’s foreign minister also said that in the court ruling, the efforts to assassinate Josef Schuster and Volker Beck and the role of the Islamic Republic behind this “government-guided terrorism” are clearly laid out.

Waddofol added: “In this regard as well, we will respond.”
