🔶 Trump: I have no intention of using nuclear weapons against Iran

Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said on Thursday evening, October 15 (23 Mehr), in an interview with the Newsmax news network, that he does not intend to use nuclear weapons in a war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He also stated that he has no plans to send American ground forces to Iran.

Trump made these remarks at a time when concerns about an escalation in military confrontation between the United States and the Islamic Republic have once again increased, and the Iran-backed Houthis have intensified their attacks on Saudi Arabia.

On Thursday, October 15, CNN reported that the U.S. military is considering the potential use of a GBU-43 bomb, known as the “Mother of All Bombs,” in future attacks against Iran.

It is the largest non-nuclear bomb in the United States that Donald Trump could authorize for use. In an interview with Newsmax, Trump emphasized that this bomb is not a nuclear weapon.
