Bloomberg reported on Thursday, 23 Mehr, that the United States has informed member countries of the International Energy Agency that current plans to release emergency oil reserves are not enough to curb the increase in fuel prices.
Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported that U.S. officials attending a meeting of the International Energy Agency in Paris have not yet put forward an official proposal regarding the actions they want, but have informally held talks to secure the countries’ commitment to release at least 100 million more barrels of oil.
