Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said that Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury secretary, has «very good performance» at this ministry and is not going to leave his position. He said he wants Bessent to remain in the Treasury Department.

Trump, who had previously said he will use the word «superintelligence» instead of «artificial intelligence», wrote on Truth Social on Friday, the 3rd of Mehr, that Bessent will not be appointed to the U.S. government position of «Senior Official of Superintelligence»; because he himself does not want this role and Trump also does not intend to move him from the Treasury Department.

Trump called the reports about changing Bessent’s post «fake news» and wrote: «Why should I create such a change?»
