Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said in a speech in the U.S. state of Georgia that American forces have destroyed all 150 Iranian ships and 268 Iranian military aircraft.

Trump said: “The Iranian government no longer has aircraft, no ships, and no other things. Its top and second-tier leaders are also gone. I have to understand who exactly I’m negotiating with.”

Criticizing the nuclear deal of the Obama administration, he said that agreement paved the way for the Islamic Republic to obtain a nuclear weapon, and he emphasized that the U.S. has destroyed the Iranian government’s nuclear enrichment capability with the operations “Half-Night Hammer” and “Raging”.

Trump also called the rise in oil prices temporary and predicted that once the war ends and oil tankers resume transit in the Strait of Hormuz, prices would drop sharply.
