🔸 Trump, on Truth Social, without mentioning the name of the newspaper, wrote: “The United States has vast quantities of ammunition, especially of some specific types. In addition, if needed, large amounts of ammunition are being produced and sent to the United States.”

🔸 He emphasized: “Defense industry companies are also building the highest number of factories and production facilities in our country’s history.”

🔸 In his post, the U.S. president warned: “Those who leaked these treacherous statements are being pursued. Long prison sentences will be sought for them.”

🔸 This position was taken after The Washington Post on Wednesday, 14 Mordad, citing two informed sources, wrote that Trump last week, during a cabinet meeting at Camp David in the state of Maryland, questioned Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, due to a “severe shortage of ammunition that has limited the military options of the United States against Iran.”
