Darya Safai, an Iranian-born member of the Belgian parliament, referring to a report by French media about the identification of the Islamic Republic’s footprint in a misinformation campaign on the social network X, said that the Islamic Republic is trying to influence public opinion by exaggerating violence by the French police and to make Western countries appear unsafe.
She said that the unrest in Europe cannot be compared with the protests of the Iranian people, because the troublemakers in Europe looted shops and carried out destruction of property, but Iranian people took to the streets for freedom, and the Islamic Republic killed them with war bullets.
