Donald Trump, president of the United States, on Tuesday, 28 Mehr, in a conversation with journalists at the White House, said: “We’re doing very well when it comes to Iran. We just have to make the final decision about what kind of victory we want; do we want to win in a good way or in a not-so-good way?”

Referring to the United States’ attacks on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities, Trump added: “We can end Iran’s war right now and say we did a big job, but that isn’t enough for me. We have to make sure they won’t be able to get their hands on nuclear weapons again, for five, six, or even 10 years.”

He said: “Their facilities are now under hundreds of tons of stone, but that isn’t enough for me, and we have to be sure that the nuclear threat does not come back again.”

Trump also spoke about assistance from other countries, saying: “We didn’t need any help, but I was testing them. I separately called presidents and prime ministers and asked whether they want to help us? They said no. We spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year on NATO and they said no.”
