Ali Abdollahian, Chief of the General Staff of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces, said that in case of any “enemy’s repeated mistake,” the armed forces will neutralize the impact of the advanced and expensive equipment of the other side by using cheap but effective equipment.

Government media in Iran reported that Abdollahian said on Tuesday, 28 Mehr, that the enemies of the Islamic Republic have access to modern equipment and that the armed forces, if needed, should respond to them with “different methods” and “asymmetric equipment”; as, according to him, happened in the two recent wars.

He emphasized that such an approach for the other side will be “annoying, concerning, and costly.”

Abdollahian also said that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, on the path laid out by Ali Khamenei, the late leader of the Islamic Republic, and Mojtaba Khamenei, the current leader of the Islamic Republic, “will deal seriously and decisively with any power and any aggressor against the soil of this country and the values stemming from the Islamic Revolution.”
