CNN reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, during his unannounced trip to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the president of the United Arab Emirates, said that Israel’s assessment is that the Islamic Republic is likely to launch an attack in the region in the coming weeks. Tehran has reacted sharply to the visit.
CNN, citing a source in Israel who is familiar with the meeting, added that Netanyahu also provided the UAE president with new information about the resumption of Iran’s nuclear program, and especially new activities at the Kalang mountain site in Gela.
According to this report, the Iran issue was the main part of Netanyahu’s talks with Mohamed bin Zayed on Sunday.
