The U.S. State Department issued authorization for a potential $270 million sale to Norway. The sale includes 15 lots of high-explosive artillery rounds M795 for 155 mm caliber, as well as technical services, documentation, and logistical support.

Washington said that this sale would strengthen Norway’s artillery capabilities and improve cooperation between Norwegian forces, the United States, and NATO.
