🔶 CENTCOM reports the end of a “wave of heavy attacks” against Iran
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the U.S. forces’ attacks on targets of the Islamic Republic have ended.
On Thursday, July 30 (August 8), CENTCOM posted a message on the X social network detailing these attacks, saying they were carried out in response to Iran’s missile attacks the previous day against U.S. forces in Jordan, which, according to CENTCOM, resulted in all missiles being intercepted and destroyed.
CENTCOM said it concluded its operation at around 5 a.m. Iran time. The attacks began at 3:30 a.m. Iran time.
According to the U.S. Central Command, positions belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, surveillance and coastal defense sites, and maritime capabilities in Iran, were targeted.
