🔻CENTCOM has released these images, which it says are related to the sinking of the oil tanker Kilo in the Gulf of Oman.

In recent days, attacks by Iran and the United States on oil tankers and commercial ships in the Persian Gulf have intensified.

Yesterday, CENTCOM reported an attack on three Iranian oil tankers which, according to the U.S. Central Command’s statement, one of them (the Kilo oil tanker) sank completely and went underwater a few hours later.

CENTCOM’s attack on Iranian oil tankers took place after Iran targeted a U.S. aircraft carrier with a ballistic missile, as well as an American destroyer. CENTCOM says these attacks were unsuccessful.
