🔻US agreement with the F-35 maker to produce 850 of these stealth fighter jets

🔻The U.S. Department of Defense and Lockheed Martin announced a 10-year agreement to produce 850 advanced stealth radar fighter jets, the F-35.

The financial value of the deal has not been disclosed. The agreement is taking place as the Pentagon seeks to expand the production of U.S. weapons by signing multi-year contracts and to strengthen the country’s defense industry base.

Lockheed Martin CEO, in talks with investors, said that this agreement “solidifies the aircraft’s position as the main frontline fighter of the free world for years to come.”

During the war with Iran, the United States and Israel used F-35 fighter jets in their operations. This fighter jet has three different variants, and the price of each unit could reach more than $100 million.
