As regional tensions intensify, Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, warned about the possibility of an attack by the country’s “enemies” ahead of Israel’s parliamentary election.
In a video message in Hebrew, he said: “I’m sending you this message from an Air Force base, with Israel’s long arm to back it up: don’t mess with us; not now and not ever again. Our long arm will reach you anywhere and at any time.”
Netanyahu said that Israel is carrying out operations “unceasingly on all fronts,” and that its forces have eliminated more than 100 “terrorists” in the Gaza Strip in recent weeks.
Israel’s parliamentary election is set to be held on 5 Aban.
