🔶 عراقچی: مذاکرات بسیار فشرده در جریان است، اما همهچیز به آمریکا بستگی دارد
Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, said that negotiations with the United States via intermediaries, with the aim of reaching an agreement to end the war, are being carried out “very intensively.” He also emphasized that “everything depends on Washington’s political rationality.”
Araqchi, in an exclusive interview with IRNA that was published by the news agency on Monday, 11 Aban, also said that Tehran will not back down from its conditions for reaching an agreement, ending the war, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Iranian officials, the covert talks via intermediaries—especially Qatar and Pakistan—have been ongoing, and now it is the American side that must act to break the stalemate that has lasted for months.
In his interview with IRNA, Abbas Araqchi also said that if the other side “enters the path of diplomacy with sincerity,” Iran is also ready for engagement.
He meanwhile issued a warning: “In the event of any renewed military test or deception by the enemy, a much harder and more regrettable response than before will be given.”
