The constitutional crisis in Poland has given the local right a common goal - to overthrow the government of liberal Donald Tusk, writes the European edition of Politico.

"The epic battle over who will govern Poland from 2027 is on. This weekend’s rule-of-law crisis is helping unite the country’s fractured nationalist right," the paper notes.

The publication urges the European Commission to "watch out" in relation to Poland, where Eurosceptics may come to power.
