🔸America did not issue visas for some members of Pezeshkian’s accompanying delegation

According to reports by Iranian domestic media, the United States has refused to issue visas for a number of members of Masoud Pezeshkian’s accompanying delegation, the Iranian president, for his trip to the United Nations General Assembly.

In this regard, the state news agency IRNA called the move “hostile” and “unprecedented,” and wrote that the Trump administration has not issued visas for some members of Pezeshkian’s senior delegation, including members of his media and communications team.

Mizr also, quoting the spokesperson of the Iranian president’s office, published this report and wrote that Pezeshkian is scheduled to deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, September 23 (October 1).

If he travels to New York, Pezeshkian will be the highest-ranking official of the Islamic Republic who, since the start of the war in the Middle East following U.S. and Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic in February, enters U.S. territory.

The United States has agreed to the Iranian delegation traveling to New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly, but has imposed restrictions on it, as it did last year.
