🔸Pakistan’s Minister of Interior went to Tehran to discuss mediation

Mohsen Naqvi, Pakistan’s Minister of Interior, arrived in Tehran on Sunday, 30 Shahrivar (20 September), and was received by Eskandar Moemeni, Iran’s Minister of Interior.

According to reports by Iran’s domestic media, discussions regarding bilateral relations and the review of the provisions of an agreement previously signed by senior officials of the two countries were announced as the main focus of this trip.

At the same time, Al Jazeera, citing a source in Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior, reported that Naqvi’s trip to Tehran is aimed at consultations regarding mediation efforts and ways to end the deadlock situation.
