Alireza Panahian, a speaker at the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, told Tasnim News Agency: “Some people still say that issues should be resolved through diplomacy. If we want to resolve issues through diplomacy, does America want to resolve them as well or not? If someone believes these foolish remarks that some people are making, this very matter will turn into a factor for breaking social solidarity.”

Panahian said on Saturday, 2 Aban that some people repeat that the issues should be resolved, but it must be said that everything is not within our control; the U.S. ruling establishment is “under the influence of Israel,” and we must accept that the other side is unwilling to make peace.

He added: “This war is an existential war, and politicians must understand this issue and, by avoiding divisive remarks, join the ranks of the nation.”
