Alireza Namvar Haqiqi, a political analyst, said that despite all signs of readiness for a military attack, communication channels with officials of the Islamic Republic are still open, perhaps to allow, at the last moment, the possibility of reaching an agreement or obtaining concessions.

He added that if attacks are carried out, missile sites, some facilities and political institutions, as well as part of the economic and logistical infrastructure will most likely be targeted. According to him, the goal of this operation is not to start an all-out war, but rather a combination of military pressure, sanctions, and economic siege to force the Islamic Republic to change its behavior.
