🔻Ali Tajerneya, head of the board of directors of Esteghlal club, said in an online interview that the Football Federation has promised him that they will give Esteghlal the championship trophy from the previous season, which remained unfinished due to the blue team’s top position: «I state it clearly that this promise was given to me that they will give us the championship trophy.»

🔹He said: «Please, because of the group’s welcome or bad reception, don’t forget their promise. Declaring Esteghlal as champions doesn’t bother any team, doesn’t upset anyone. Unless we take something from someone that was the right of others?»

🔹Esteghlal’s managing director’s deputy said: «If anyone has the conditions for Esteghlal, let them say it. We had more points, and we had also won the head-to-head match. We insisted that the competitions be held. In the Hazfi Cup as well, we were among the top 8 teams. Until the start of the league, there is a 10-12 day window for them to hand the trophy to Esteghlal.»
