Ali Hossein Ghazi-Zadeh, a member of the Iran International editorial board, said that until the start of serious negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic, one should not expect any major achievement in reopening the Strait of Hormuz or a nuclear agreement.
According to him, if the United States wants to force the Islamic Republic to fully open the Strait of Hormuz, in the end the only determining tool would be the military option.
